SmartView MultiScreen Serial
The ADDERLink SmartView MultiScreen Serial Switch allows a single keyboard, mouse and (up to) two video monitors to control four separate computers.

Video performance
High quality video with DDC support and resolutions up to 1920 by 1440 pixels.
Serial line switching
Completely transparent switching for all RS232 serial lines (in unison with keyboard, video and mouse channels).
Cascade connections
The SmartView MultiScreen Serial units can be linked in a cascade formation to allow up to 16 computer systems to be controlled.
Increased switching capabilities
Where more video monitors are required, you can synchronize two units together to support twice the number of video and serial channels.
Choice of switching methods
Switching between the systems can be achieved by:
- The front panel button
- Keyboard hotkey combinations
- Mouse button combinations
- External serial commands via the Options/Flash port
Remote switching options
There are two wired remote switching options, which allow the main unit to be neatly concealedaway from view:
- Adder's RC1, which provides a low profile, single button switch with a 7-segment LED display
- Adder's RC4 remote unit, which has a button and LED display per connected computer
Video resolution
High bandwidth video supported at resolutions up to 1920 x 1440. Supports VGA / SVGA / XGA / XGA-2 / SXGA and UXGA video and VESA DDC1 and DDC2 signalling. Screen saver feature with user selectable "kick in" time.
